The 2016 Jersey International Motoring Festival:
We are pleased to announce an outline timetable for the 2016 event.
2nd June Thursday
1900 – 2330 The Jersey Kart and Motor club will host a Kart Meeting on Victoria Avenue (Lower Park end) – with members from 8 years through to adults racing against United Kingdom Drivers and members of the Guernsey Kart Kart and Motor Club.
This event is open to MSA licenced karters racing on an exciting closed public road circuit . There are classes ranging from the W60 Coma / IAME /Honda through to Rotax and the awesome KF1 /KF2 Gear box class. This event is popular with spectactors – enjoy an evening of motorsport with a spectacular backdrop often with a fantastic sunset.
3rd June Friday
Day 1 of the touring programme which is available to visitors with any vintage or classic car to see more of the island, finishing with participation in the cavalcade which runs just before the moonlight sprint.
08.00 – 18.00 Kart Racing at the local club’s current track at Sorel point St. John.
1500- 1700 Scrutineering of the competition motorcycles and cars will be on the People’s Park – in the afternoon
1900 Pre-show incorporating cavalcade of some visiting and local vehicles and a taster of the attractions you experience over the whole weekend
1930 – 2330 Moonlight Sprint on Victoria Avenue
4th June Saturday
10.00 – 17.00 Hillclimb Westmount – enjoy watching classic and vintage vehicles compete to be the fastest up the hill which winds its way up behind People’s Park. So close to the rest of the action that you can wonder between the parks and watch at designated places on the hill all day!
10.00-1700 First day of the main Show including People’s Park (next to Hillclimb venue) and the Lower Park incorporating visiting and local club static displays, trade stands and refreshments with special attractions and also musical entertainment
Professional stunt riders and other attractions to be confirmed.
Second day of Touring element
11.30 Jersey Motorcycle & Light Car Club Sand Race on the Beach at West park. Watch various vehicles race around a circuit on the beach, just across the road from the Main Show.

5th June Sunday
09.30 – 16.00 Hillclimb Mount Bingham – local and visiting classic & vintage vehicles tackling a timed circuit up a challenging course next to Fort Regent on the other side of St Helier (a short 5 minute drive away from the main showground
10.00 – 16.00 Active Arena – around Victoria Park (between People’s Park and Lower Park) running on a rolling schedule to include moving demonstrations of a host of different types of motorsport and showcasing different vehicle marques.
Day 2 of the main Show including People’s Park (next to Hillclimb venue) and the Lower Park incorporating visiting and local club static displays, trade stands and refreshments with special attractions and also musical entertainment.
Professional stunt riders and other attractions to be confirmed.
Evening food music and drinks served on the park at 1830 hrs ticketed for officials/sponsors/helpers until 22.30
